About Us

uCollect is created by Peter McCarroll, a Chartered Account/CPA in both New Zealand and Canada. Peter is Xero’s award-winning “Most Valuable Professional” (2012) for his knowledge and contribution to the Xero Community.

uCollect was born out of personal need – wanting to be able to initiate direct debits from Xero without having to pre-schedule them. In responding to posts on the Xero Forum and discussing with other users it was clear that there was a broader need.
